Held on the third Thursday of every month, we invite everyone to explore different aspects of Clay County's rich history. July's event will feature Collections Manager Lisa Vedaa displaying and talking about Shang Stanton's pistol. The shootout Shang had in 1872 led to the creation of Moorhead and Clay County's government.
History Thursdays is free for the public to attend and a collaboration between HCSCC, Moorhead Senior Center, and Moorhead Parks & Rec.
