Our first History Speaks lecture of the 2026 season is coming up soon, and you are invited to attend!Join us on Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 PM for our very first History Speaks lecture of the 2026 season! For our inaugural lecture, we will be welcoming community historian Richard Allison and his in-depth presentation on the history of Claysburg. Richard received one of our Heritage Hall of Fame Awards last year for his work on preserving Claysburg's history, so this lecture is sure to be an interesting one!
This year's lecture lineup will return to the Railroaders Memorial Museum's theater room. As always, our lectures are FREE and open to the public, but donations to the Blair County Historical Society are welcome!
We hope to see you for the first of many great presentations that we have lined up for this year!
