On January 7th, 1950, many people were going about their daily lives. That is, until a fire broke out at St. Elizabeth's Mental Health Facility for women in Davenport. Join us on Thursday, May 30th from 7PM - 8PM as the History Series at Hauberg Estate brings in author Bret Grimes to discuss one of the nation's largest hospital fires to date and the "tragedy that changed Davenport".
Bret Grimes is a local author who dived into and researched one of the areas most tragic events to retell the story of those who fought and survived the event.
