The Pacific Northwest is rich in nautical tradition and maritime lore – its history filled with dark, epic tales of shipwrecks, sailors’ superstitions, haunted lighthouses and forts, pirates, sea serpents, crimes, and more. Historian and author Ira Kitmacher presents these tales and unravels the fables haunting our waters.
Ira Kitmacher is the author of 𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤, 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘈𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘢 𝘙𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘗𝘶𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥, 𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘸𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘦, and more.
