Join the History on Wheels for an engaging, interactive program that highlights the vital but often-overlooked contributions of African Americans in military service. Mannequins dressed in authentic uniforms from different eras will be on display, alongside artifacts, photographs, and documents that showcase their sacrifices and achievements. Founder Luther Johnson will share the stories behind the uniforms and artifacts, offering context about the wars they represent, the challenges faced, and the resilience shown.This unique drop-in program blends education, storytelling, and visual history, creating a meaningful way for all ages to connect with history and honor the legacy of African American service members.
