Robert Ingersoll — “The Great Agnostic”
A renowned orator, lawyer, and outspoken advocate for free thought, Ingersoll challenged conventional beliefs and became one of the most celebrated speakers of his time.
Theodore Roosevelt — New York City Police Commissioner
Long before becoming president, Roosevelt made his mark as a reformer and forceful leader during his tenure as New York City’s Police Commissioner.
Margaret Crocker — Sacramento’s “Lady Bountiful”
A prominent Sacramento philanthropist, Crocker was known for her generosity and lasting influence on the cultural and civic life of the community.
Leland Stanford — Railroad Magnate
