Join us for our monthly Community History Night in partnership with the Schenectady County Historical Society! In 1926, Frederick Freeman Proctor built his theater in Schenectady's burgeoning downtown. In the glamour of Schenectady's "golden age," the theater was a staple of a bustling nightlife. As time went on and fortune's faded, this theater faced demolition. In this presentation we'll learn how this historic theater emerged from desperation and galvanized the rebirth of our city.
