DEMONSTRATION OF CHOCOLATE MAKING IN EARLY AMERICA
On Sunday, February 9, the Varnum House Museum will host two immersive 18th-century chocolate making demonstrations put on by The Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolates. Discover the secrets of how chocolate was made and enjoyed centuries ago! The Varnum House Museum is the perfect backdrop for a historic chocolate making adventure. At this event, skilled chocolatiers in period attire will guide you through the traditional techniques used in the 1700s.
In addition to the demonstration, The Pewter Pot will have a wide range of chocolates, sweets, and other chocolate products available for sale. Looking for a last-minute Valentine's Day gift for that special someone? We've got you covered!
These two demonstrations are ticketed events. Please see below for details.
