Explore iconic landmarks like the Sheldon Theatre and the St. James Hotel while uncovering the deeper layers of this river town — from Dakota homelands and early settlement, historic landmarks and the Mississippi River lore that shaped Red Wing’s identity.

• Mostly easy walking tour with 1 moderate hill coming up from and returning to the train depot.
• Tour is outdoor so please dress appropriately.
• Tour is all on paved surfaces so is wheelchair accessible (please keep the hill in mind).
