Join us as we host History for Lunch on Wednesday, Apr. 16 at 12 p.m. Sandy Stevenson, president of the Perquimans County Restoration Association (PCRA), will discuss the rebuilding of an early 1700s plank house on the campus of the Newbold-White House. The plank house started life in Elizabeth City, moved several times, and ended up in a barn in Bethania. PCRA bought the house and organized a crew of volunteers to move it to Hertford and restore it. The completed plank house will provide an opportunity to showcase colonial cooking and crafts.
The Museum will offer the History for Lunch program in-person and through Zoom. To attend the lecture virtually, register in advance by clicking here to receive the link: https://www.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/vJIsde6orzorGqjI9M5Cbdje2BmXsEVncb8#/registration
