History Cruise: From Canoe to Chris Craft - Lake Minnetonka Boating History
About this Event
Enjoy an evening of cool breezes aboard the Lady of the Lake as we explore Lake Minnetonka's boating history and its progression from transportation necessity to majestic steamers to family pleasure craft. Historians Joanie Holst and Jeff Magnuson will tell the stories of the first dugout canoes, early sailboats, and 2500 passenger steamboats, as well as Lake Minnetonka's famous boat builders and owners.
Snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on board.
