Join Wings Exploration of Flight, in partnership with the Commemorative Air Force Central Texas Wing, from August 30 – September 1 to experience rare historic aircraft up close! The featured aircraft of this event is the B-25J Mitchell WWII bomber “Yellow Rose”. The B-25 will be joined by two flying WWI replicas: a Fokker DVII and a SPAD XIII from the Vintage Aero Flying Museum. Marvel at the evolution in aviation between the two World Wars.The event hours are 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on August 30, August 31 and September 1.
Aircraft tours are included with admission and will be offered when the plane is not flying or being moved on the ramp. Ground tours will be offered on August 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., August 31 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and September 1 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Take a Flight on the B-25! Living history flight experiences are approximately 30 minutes long and may be purchased in advance online through the CAF Central Texas Wing.
