Please join the West Baton Rouge Museum on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM for Historical Happy Hour. This month’s Happy Hour will feature West Baton Rouge’s very own, Kent Louque with the Country Cajuns and Friends.
Born and raised in St. James Parish and a resident of West Baton Rouge Parish for 29 years, Kent has been hosting the museum’s monthly Old Time Jam since its beginnings. Kent is a local singer and musician who performs at clubs, restaurants, brunches, festivals, and benefits from Slidell to Lafayette over the last 10 years. As the leader of several different bands and a solo artist, he is seasoned in classic country, swamp pop, some blues, and 70’s light rock.
Kent is only able to showcase a small taste of his talents at the museum’s monthly jams, so don’t miss out on a great night with Kent and his musical friends.
This FREE event is open to the public. All are invited to bring refreshments and lawn chairs to enjoy the evening’s entertainment that will take place at the museum’s Juke Joint located on the rear side of campus near Sixth Street.
