In June, our historical fiction book club will discuss Tan Twan Eng's House of Doors, a novel set in 1920s colonial Penang, Malaysia, that explores love, betrayal, and colonialism through the lens of writer W. Somerset Maugham's visit to the area.Copies of House of Doors will be made available at the May meeting. Any extra copies will be held at the Circulation desk on the ground floor.
This book club meets face-to-face in the library's program space and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
