Bike Lambertville and the Lambertville Historical Society will host their third annual Historical Bike Tour on Sunday October 12 from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Join Paul Mickiewicz from Bike Lambertville, LHS trustee Chuck Hansen, and noted railroad historian Shane Scanlon Blische for a 5 mile bicycle tour of interesting old railroad sites along the canal in Lambertville. Traveling by bike will allow us to explore sites that are not typically part of the popular Lambertville walking tours. The route will utilize the tow path and the quiet streets in Lambertville for a slow and casual ride. Participants should come prepared with a road ready bike, properly fitted helmet, water, and appropriate layered clothing. Location: We will meet at the parking lot adjacent to the tow path at the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum at 1605 Daniel Bray Hwy Lambertville NJ 8530.
