Creative Workshops as part of a public consultationThe Environment Office at Wexford County Council is developing a proposal to seal four historic landfill sites around County Wexford which will be developed in the coming years subject to available funding.
As part of the proposal Creative Ireland is collaborating with the Environment Office to find and gather ideas for innovative ways in which the site could be used by the public once it is properly sealed. Cultural producer Karla Sanchez, will be holding a series of focus groups with communities across the county: “We need as many creative ideas as we can get.”
Please join the session related to the historic landfill that is closest to your community -
“Carcur” - Thursday October 9th, 7:00 p.m. – Wexford Library.
“Lucas Park” – Thursday October 16th, 7:00p.m. – Enniscorthy Library.
“Gorteen” – Thursay October 23rd, 4:00 p.m. – Bunclody Library.
“Ballykeerogue” – Friday November 7th, 7:00 p.m. – Campile Community Hall.
