Discover a new perspective on Harleysville, Souderton, and Lederach with this display at the Mennonite Heritage Center running December 10 through January 25. A collection of more than 50 models, featuring those in Harleysville, it showcases the historic character of these communities.
This charming “walk around” the historic boroughs by artist Joann Johannsen is open during regular museum hours: Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Johannsen believes her models tell not just the architectural story of the communities, “but of the hopes, dreams and vision of those who established a foundation for our lives today.”
