Historian Steve Fox will be doing a presentation on
Monte Cristo Railroad...
Monte Cristo and early Everett grew up together, backed by investors from the Rockefeller syndicate. An 1892 rail line through Lowell linked the new city to the mountain mining ghost town. Travel from northwest Everett to Monte Cristo with Steve Fox, exploring the story through vintage and modern photos.
In addition,local author JD Howard will be on hand with his latest book, Before Woodstock-The Sky River Rock Festival.
We'll be celebrating with a beautiful and delicious charcuterie buffet, and special adult beverages made by the talented bartenders at the Muse! Coffee and Sodas..
Well round off our program with a special auction to benefit our MARGARET RIDDLE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM! This is a near and dear program to us and we are proud to present a scholarship each year to a worthy student studying historic preservation, architecture, the trades and more. Please be generous!
