🎞️Directed by Marcelo Rabuñal, the documentary investigates how the ubiquitous portrait of Uruguay's national hero, José Gervasio Artigas, painted over a century ago was a constructed invention to build a national myth, rather than a factual representation of the historical figure.

✨Join us on this great Movie Night! This is a collaboration between the Consulate General of Uruguay, Spanish Chamber of Commerce HK, Mexican Chamber of Commerce HK and Spanish World HK, the only officially accredited Spanish academy in Hong Kong by Instituto Cervantes.
