🎵 HIP-HOP 5K BENEFITING SONGWRITERS 🎵

Join us Sunday, June 21, 2026, for Las Vegas’ culture-driven wellness and community engagement experience — the Hip-Hop 5K benefiting songwriters.

Presented by Protect The Creatives, a Las Vegas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Hip-Hop 5K combines movement, music, wellness, and community impact into one unforgettable morning experience.

According to 50statesofmusic.com, Las Vegas is home to nearly 18,000 songwriters, yet less than 25% currently receive royalties or consistent publishing income. This event was created to help raise awareness and support for songwriters while bringing the community together through health, culture, and creativity.

5K Distance: 2 loops

Location: Bottega Exchange- Las Vegas, Nevada. 6675 South Tenaya Way #200 Las Vegas, NV 89113

• Packet Pickup: 7:15am
• Orange Theory Fitness Warm-up @ 8:00 AM
• Hip-Hop Performance by Official TyB @ 8:15 AM
• 5K Start @ 8:30 AM
• 1-Mile Awareness Walk Start @ 8:45 AM
• R&B; Recovery Brunch @ 9:00 AM
• Event Close @11:00 AM

The course features road closures along major streets including Rafael Rivera Way and Tenaya Way to help create a safe and enjoyable race environment. Please remain within designated race areas and follow all traffic control signs and staff instructions throughout the event.

The course will be clearly marked with volunteers and directional signage along the route.

Participants will have access to:

• A fully stocked water station along the course
• Finish line aid station with water, electrolytes, and fruit snacks
• First aid support available at aid stations
• Clearly marked turns and course directions

Your registration includes access to our post-race brunch experience where runners, walkers, creatives, and community members can connect after crossing the finish line.

Enjoy great food, music, networking, and community vibes as we celebrate movement, culture, and wellness together.

Keep the momentum going before and after race day by joining the official Hip Hop 5K Strava Run Club. Participants will have access to community challenges, training motivation, and exclusive giveaways leading up to the event.

The Hip Hop 5K is proudly organized as part of a nonprofit initiative focused on promoting wellness, culture, community engagement, and access to health-centered experiences through Hip Hop.

Even if you’re unable to participate, you can still support the movement by making a donation. Every contribution helps us continue creating programs and events that empower communities through fitness, music, education, and culture.

🎉 As a thank-you, volunteers who complete their full assigned shift will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a free pair of Skechers.

✅ Free parking will be available for all participants.
There will be plenty of parking on-site, but we encourage guests to arrive early to allow time for check-in and warm-up activities.

Please note that gear check will not be available. We recommend bringing only essential items or leaving personal belongings secured in your vehicle.

Finisher Medals & Awards
All participants who complete the race will receive an official finisher medal.
