All of whom have have been playing rock n roll, rhythm n blues, garage rock, surf, rockabilly and the like for more than 45 years!
Hipbone Slim aka Sir Bald sings, play guitar and writes tunes. The guys play largely original material written by his hairy hand.
Baldie has released over 40 albums with his various bands and has worked and recorded with members of Milkshakes, 5678s, Mummies, Phantom Surfers, MFC Chicken, Deke Dickerson and Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm.
He has a vast repertoire of songs and has been featured in ‘Stranger Things’ no less!!!
Double bass player Gasty is a long time associate of Sir Bald having played bass in The Bigs Wigs and The Ripcurls. His four stringing also includes a stint with The Playboys and backing a host of US rock n roll legends. Along the way he has slapped bass for Billy Riley, Sonny Burgess, Ronnie Dawson, Dale Hawkins Larry Donn, Johnny Carrol, Joe Poovey, Don and Dewey, Nappy Brown and Ben Hewitt. He has also fronted the Arousers and Doug Grayves.
Steve Napper aka Snapper Turnips is the Boozingstoke house drummer. In his time he has beat out a rhythm for Dave Phillips, Darrel Higham, Rusti Steel, Tammi Savoy, Jittery Jack and Little Dave and many others.
Expect raucous, fun authentic rock n roll !
The guys have already been in Gizzard Vintage Analogue Studio, London, where they have laid down a bunch of hot rockin' tunes ready for a clutch of 45s and a debut album!!
Last time at The Harcourt was a scorcher! This one promises to be even scorchioer!
