Hip Hop: Beginner Dance Class

Hip Hop taps into the roots of street dance culture while celebrating individuality and self-expression. This class will blend foundational hip hop technique with beginner-level choreography.

Expect to explore textures, footwork, isolations, and grooves that build both vocabulary and confidence, paired with high-energy combos that let you practice musicality, performance, and personal expression. Here, it’s not about “getting it perfect”, it’s about feeling the groove, letting your body speak, and connecting to the rhythm in a way that’s authentic to you.

• Wear sneakers and clothes you can comfortably move in.
• Bring a water bottle (and a towel)
• Class will end prompty at 6:55pm!

Maven & Torch, have more than 3 decades of professional experience in dance, acting, musical theater, and other performance arts. Their combined experience can provide a wide variety of performance styles or educational experiences to match the needs.
