She received a B.F.A. from RISD and an M.F.A. from SUNY, the College at New Paltz, NY. Her pieces are represented in the permanent collections including the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum and Renwick Gallery. White resides in Boston with her partner, two remarkable children, and their dog.

Class Description

Expand your jewelry-making skills in this hands-on workshop designed for students who have completed Jewelry 101. You'll begin by crafting a simple three-knuckle hinge in brass, honing your precision and technique. Then, explore the creative potential of the hydraulic press by using a plexiglass silhouette die to shape two pillowed copper forms. These forms will be "decked" and connected with the hinge, resulting in a beautifully crafted sample locket. This workshop offers the opportunity to build on foundational skills while introducing advanced techniques in hinge construction and hydraulic forming.

Material Fee

The materials fee for this class is $55. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class.
