Smt. Ruchira Panda studied Hindustani vocal music under Pt. Manas Chakraborty and is regarded as a torchbearer of the Kotali Gharana. She is a skilled exponent of Khayal, Thumri, Tappa, Tap-Khayal and other semi classical forms.
She will be accompanied on Harmonium by Shri. Anirban Chakrabarty who was initially trained in Hindustani Classical Music by his father Amal Chakrabarty. He is also under the tutelage of Pt. Manas Chakraborty.
