About this Event
From Us, For Us: A Community Artivism Love Letter
A Month-Long Artivism Exhibit at the BIPOC Artivism Storefront Center
Step into a living expression of what happens when a community creates for itself.
From Us, For Us: A Community Artivism Love Letter is a month-long exhibit honoring the art, crafts, and wellness practices cultivated through Hilltop Urban Gardens’ BIPOC Artivism Program from July 2025 to April 2026. This exhibit centers the work of facilitators who have poured their knowledge, creativity, and cultural practices back into the community—creating offerings that are as healing as they are powerful.
Inside the BIPOC Artivism Storefront Center, you’ll experience:
- Original artwork and handcrafted pieces
- Cultural and wellness-based practices rooted in Afrodiasporic traditions
- Interactive and sensory elements that invite reflection and connection
- Opportunities to engage directly with facilitators through select live sessions
This is more than an exhibit—it’s a collective archive, a celebration, and a continuation of community-led creation. Every piece reflects a cycle of reciprocity: what was shared, what was received, and what continues to grow.
Whether you come to witness, to connect, or to be inspired, you are stepping into a space built with intention, care, and cultural reverence.
Exhibit Dates: May 2–31, 2026
