Join us for a bike training led by David Neumann.
Meet at Dixie Lake Parking lot
This training will also include valuable information and pointers.
* Meet up
* Basic info
- Efficient bike setup (equipment, tire pressure, bike maintenance)
- Efficient riding (use of upper body, cadence, use of gears, power management, aerodynamics)
- Efficient climbing technique (tackling hills the right way, momentum, cadence, following through)
* Warm up group ride (Dixie - Campground - Dixie)
* Group Start Hill repeats (1st easy, 2nd medium effort, 3rd all out) re-group after every climb
Slow riders turn at the entrance to Cabins, faster riders turn around (or before) gate house, easy pedaling on the downhill back to Dixie, regroup.
* After first 3 climbs - feedback session (optimization, what can be done better,…)
* 2nd set of climbs (easy/medium/hard) Regroup
* Optional - easy spin out with the group (Dixie - Campground - Dixie)
Non-CTC members can participate free of charge after signing our online waiver.
Helmet is required.
