Hiking Trip to Lake Sebago from NYC

Join North Brooklyn Community Boathouse (NBCB) on a hike through Harriman State Park, followed by an afternoon of water activities at Lake Sebago!

The trip will begin at New York's Penn Station where we'll take NJ Transit to the trailhead in Tuxedo, NY.

The hike through Harriman State Park is approximately 2-3 miles each way. Once we reach our destination - NBCB's cabin on Lake Sebago, we'll break for lunch (please bring a packed lunch). Then, we'll enjoy an afternoon of water activities such as swimming, kayaking, and canoeing.

Meeting time is 8:30am at Penn Station. We'll return to Penn by 6pm.

The trip fee includes the American Canoe Association (ACA) camp entry fee, equipment use, snacks, and drinks. Transit tickets are not included and can be purchased through the NJ Transit Mobile App, or ticket vending machines.

All proceeds from the event will fund future NBCB activities.

We hope this trip brings members and non-members together to explore nature, enjoy a day on the water, and raise funds for NBCB!
