Hiking Trip: Bánk - Prónay Kilátó

We will gather at Újpest-Városkapu, Budapest [https://share.google/niwp4XLdMRe66gYb4] at 8:00 am and take the Bus 1010 to Rétság, autóbusz-forduló. From here we will change to Bus 329 and reach Bánk, strandfürdő. We will reach there around 10:00 am from where we start our hike. This is a 14 km hike to kecske-kő and back and will take about 3 - 5 hours depending on our speed. At Kecske-kő we'll have a beautiful view of the Cserhát mountains.
Please bring enough food and water with you. There are rest stops on the way and we will be using them to relax. We will end up back in Bánk and start the return trip to Budapest. We can have a picnic on the way and spend sometime exploring the lake, and you can take a bath or go swimming in the lake, but you have to buy a ticket to enter. Normal ticket 2500 huf, student 1700 huf.
For the travel you can buy the ticket at the Bus Station. Please carry some CASH with you as there maybe some places that may not accept card. If you have a Hungary Pass you do not need to buy tickets. If you have a Pest County Pass, you will need to buy a 24hr ticket for Nógrád County. If you have a Budapest Pass, you will need to buy a 24hr ticket to Nógrád County and also 24 hr ticket for Pest County, alternatively, you can buy single tickets each way to Bánk, whichever is cheaper.
The group leaders will share their live location in the WhatsApp group until everyone gets together. You will have to buy tickets so please bring your student cards and bring some cash. Please wear good shoes for the hike and please do not be late.
