Hi everyone,I’m organising a fundraising hike on Saturday 23rd August along the beautiful Seven Sisters coastline — but this isn’t just about the walk.
I grew up in Lewisham, a borough where the life expectancy for men is one of the lowest in London. A few years ago, I ended up in hospital with blood clots in my 30s no warning signs, no symptoms I recognised. It made me realise how easily men ignore their health until it’s too late.
Through my organisation, Gentleman’s Health Hub, we’re raising £5,000 to run free preventative health check pop-ups in Lewisham offering both physical and mental health support. This hike is the first step in making that happen.
