Hiking: Box Hill & North Downs – Sat 22 Aug 2026Up for a proper countryside day with big views and a good challenge? We’re heading to Box Hill and the North Downs for an intermediate hike with scenic viewpoints, classic trails, and a great group vibe. And to top it off, there’s a Great British Food Festival at West Horsley Place (Leatherhead) afterwards — street food, artisan stalls, chef demos, drinks and live music.

- Group train tickets: we travel together there and back from the same station.
- If you plan to return separately or get off elsewhere, please buy your own ticket in advance.
What to bring
Comfortable walking footwear (boots if you have them), waterproof jacket and trousers, water (at least 1L, ideally 2L), lunch for the picnic stop, and a bit of money for a pub afterwards (optional).
