Bodiam Castle & High Weald Countryside Walk- Sat 28 Feb 2026
Join us for a full-day countryside hike through the beautiful High Weald, with stunning views of the iconic Bodiam Castle, one of England’s most impressive medieval moated castles. This walk combines history, rolling countryside, riverside paths, and peaceful rural landscapes.
Event highlights:
• Early meeting in London for group travel
• Circular walk starting and finishing in Robertsbridge
• Distance: approx. 18 km (11 miles)
• Walking time: around 5 hours
• Total day: approximately 8+ hours including travel and breaks
• Difficulty: Moderate
We’ll walk at a comfortable pace with regular breaks and a relaxed picnic stop along the way. Please bring suitable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water, and food for the day. There will be time to enjoy the castle views and the surrounding countryside, with an optional pub stop at the end.
