Meet at the Bass Lake parking lot in Blowing Rock. Join us to hike around the lake, Deer Park Road, and Duncan Road. This is a 5-mile easy/moderate hike, but you may opt for the 1.1-mile loop around Bass Lake as an alternative. Remember to bring water, a snack, comfortable hiking shoes, and any gear needed for the weather. Before your first hike, YOU MUST register at the senior center and SIGN THE WAIVER FORM. Please read about each hike to make sure your ability level matches that of the hike. Remember that we will remain ON MARKED TRAILS at all times.
