This event, part of the Batian Preps, offers a unique experience with granite walls, providing novices a chance to learn and experienced climbers an opportunity to mentor and conquer tailored routes. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned climber, the Rock Climbing day guarantees an unforgettable adventure. Join us bi-weekly for more climbing opportunities in the wild terrain.

Itinerary:
6.30am Leave Nairobi for Lukenya expected there at 7.30am
8.00am Get a briefing at the base
8.30am Introduction to Climbing and climbing equipments
9.30am -4.30pm Climbing with a break for lunch in between
5.00pm Leave Lukenya for Nairobi expected at 6.30pm
What to wear and items to carry;
Comfortable running shoes/ gym preferred
Hiking pants/gym pants/ shorts (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the climb
Sunglasses
Hat/cap
Camera
Binoculars
Drinking water (3litres)
Sunscreen (Arimis oK) and Insect Repellent
Heavy snack or picnic Lunch
Energy Bars
Poncho or a light Rain Jacket
Avoid unnecessary Items
Finally carry loads of fun with you and tag along with a friend!!
Cost
Adults- KES. 6,500 per person, Kes. 7,000/- for residents and non- residents $125

Book your space by sending a non-refundable booking fee of KES. 2,500/- via Mpesa paybill 5211729 Account LUKENYA by 2nd June 2026 and the balance by 5th June 2026.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
