***DETAILS about the Hike ⬇️

It is about 3-4 miles long up & down depending on how far we go and the route we take on the trail.
It is a MODERATE trail which means, no it's not completely easy peasy, but it's not advanced either. Is it somewhat of a challenge? Yes! However, my 8 yr old & 13 yr old hiked it a couple weeks ago with no problem.

Is it hilly??? Yes, bc we are going up a mountain. However, there are flat areas as well & plenty of places to stop, chill, breathe & just enjoy the view.

There are 3 big, beautiful waterfalls on this trail and plenty of views of water on our way to the falls. Once we get to the waterfalls, there are plenty of areas where you can just chill and place your feet or your whole body in the water if you chose to do so.
***DETAILS about the TIME ⬇️
The event says 6hrs & 30 mins only bc we will meet in Stbg at 10am, arrive in NC NLT 11:30am & start our hike between 11:30am-12pm. The hike itself only takes a couple hours to complete.
However, I know we will stop a lot, take it in, and enjoy the surroundings. Then once we get to the waterfalls I know we will rest before heading back down the mountain.
So I say we should be done hiking and back to our vehicles by 3-3:30pm at the latest. Then the ride home back to Stbg is about 1hr & 10 mins max. So I estimated that time bc we should be headed bk NLT 4pm. This is why the event says 10am-4:30pm. That does NOT imply that we will be hiking for that long.
