The Alberta Northwest Palliative Care Society is excited to host the Hike for Hospice at Muskoseepi Park on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Hike with us in person — or participate virtually from wherever you are! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community to support compassionate hospice care.
Individuals and Teams Welcome!
Form a team and hike with friends, family, or coworkers! Simply choose a team captain, pick a team name, and enjoy the day together. Teams can include both runners and hikers.
Hike for Hospice – Community Challenge
As part of this year’s Hike for Hospice, we’re adding a little extra fun with some friendly competition and exciting prizes!
🏆 Prizes will be awarded for:
Top Fundraising Team – the team that raises the most for hospice care
Best Team Spirit – creativity, costumes, and energy on the trail
Top Individual Fundraiser – the individual who raises the most support
Every dollar raised helps support compassionate palliative care in our community. Gather your friends, family, or coworkers, and hit the trail for a great cause.
Event Details:
Registration: 10:00 a.m.
Hike Options: 2km walk, or a scenic 5 km walk/run
Hike Start: 11:00 a.m.
Celebrate together with a complimentary barbecue and refreshments for all participants, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie.

When you support Hike for Hospice, you are helping ensure that individuals in our community receive compassionate, dignified end-of-life care when they need it most. Your donation helps provide essential medical equipment, comfort supports, and critical resources for patients and their families during some of life’s hardest moments.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Alberta Northwest Palliative Care Society and stays right here in our community.
