Come Together, Wausau! Join us for an evening hike at Nine Mile!
📍 Meet at: Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area – Main Chalet/Trailhead
221700 Red Bud Rd, Wausau, WI 54401
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
We will leave promptly at 6:00 PM, so please arrive a few minutes early!
This time we’ll be hiking the Up North, Outbound & Root Canal Loop — about a 5.9-mile loop through Nine Mile. Plan for around 2 hours on the trail.
Please bring:
🥾 Comfortable hiking shoes
💧 Plenty of water
☀️ Weather-appropriate clothing
🔦 A flashlight or headlamp just in case!
This trail is also used by mountain bikers, so please stay aware of your surroundings and keep an eye out for riders.
The pace will be relaxed and everyone is welcome! As always, this is a free community event, so bring a friend and come hike with us. 🌿💚
