It’s a fantastic way to explore nature, meet new people, and just relax away from the hustle and bustle. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just out for a casual walk, everyone’s welcome! Event Directions: Hike at Forest Park

The hike begins at the end of NW Thurman Street and 40th Street.

• Drive west on NW Thurman until you reach the dead-end.

• You’ll see a house at the end of the road—this is just being used as a landmark.

• Parking is available directly across from this house.

From here, you’ll enter Forest Park via Leif Erikson Drive: Gateway Trailhead.

What to bring:

• Comfortable athletic shoes

• Water

Details:

The trails are well-traveled, with some sections paved. The hike will take about 1 hour.
