I am doing the 4 mile "Leopold's Preserve Loop" which is rated EASY because it is FLAT. This trail will take us around the property. It is combination of dirt trails and boardwalks, through serene woodland, open fields and wetlands/streams/large ponds.

Leopold's Preserve is a hidden gem in Northern Virginia - I recommend you come out seasonally, as it will look different each time you do, thanks to spring and summer wildflowers, fall leaves and awesome winter sunsets.

After the hike I'll be heading less than a mile down the road to The Farm Brewery at Broad Run. It's one of my favorite places to visit, as it has great live music on the weekends.
They have food trucks on site, plus sell beer, wine and cider and a limited selection of pub food (chicken tenders/wings, pizza, pretzels, fries, etc) at the counter.
Plenty of seating inside, outside and on the lawn.
