Hike & Sip: Bluebells at Bull Run & MyCravingz (Manassas)

We will be doing the 2.2 mile *FLAT* "Bluebell and Bull Run Loop" trail. This is an EASY FLAT trail, so it's good for beginner hikers, those coming off of injuries and those who just like to look at pretty flowers. Have I mentioned that the trail is flat?Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Unleashed, well-behaved children of all ages are welcome.

We are meeting in the large Atlantis Waterpark parking lot at Bull Run. As you enter the park, start following signs for "Atlantis Waterpark". Once you cross the front gate of the park, you still have to drive a mile to get to the Atlantis Waterpark.
We will have #TeamRabbit fast hikers (~13-15 min/mile pace) and #TeamTurtle slow hikers (~20 min/mile pace) so you get to link up with people who hike at your pace and walk with them in small groups.
THIS IS A POPULAR HIKE ROUTE THIS TIME OF YEAR. We very likely will encounter other groups on the trail, which is why I am starting us so early to hopefully avoid some of the congestion.
YES I AM AWARE the Bull Run Run 50 Miler is happening that morning and that part of it goes through the bluebell path. I believe we are starting well after the fastest runners will have already passed through the area. We will likely encounter the slower runners on the trail - just observe standard trail etiquette and walk to the right to allow runners to pass on your left.
Most important thing to know is MY HIKES START ON TIME. Which means at 8:30 am we are heading down the trail. That means you should plan to be there by 8:15-8:20 am to find parking, find the group, leash your dog, wrangle your kid, take your selfies and get in the group photo BEFORE 8:30 am.
