Hike & Learn-To-Camp Workshop Series
About this Event
Join us for a community-centred Hike & Learn-To-Camp Workshop Series in partnership with Parks Canada at Rouge National Urban Park. This is the last season of these workhops!
These outdoor experiences are designed to help those across the African/black diaspora build confidence, connection, and comfort in nature through guided hikes and Learn-To-Camp workshops.
Each session includes:
• A guided community hike by hike leader of Black Canadian Hikers
• Beginner-friendly camping education
• Outdoor safety and camping basics
• Opportunities to connect in community
• Hands on Learn-To-Camp activities facilitated with Parks Canada
No camping experience is necessary. All are welcome within the focus communities for each session.
