🌿✨ Looking for a refreshing start to your weekend? Join BEEC & the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro for Hike and Seek—short, themed family walks in local wild places!🥾 Each outing includes snacks, basic trail safety, and even transportation & outdoor gear if needed. Activities geared towards families with children age 5-11, but all ages welcome.

🐿 10/18 – Tiny Travelers (BEEC) – Discover how seeds move with games & exploration (this runs 4p-6p!)
🪵 Nov. 1: Shelter Building at Retreat Farm— It is stick season! Join us for a fun stick challenge and build your skills with debris shelters.
🦉 Nov. 15: Night Creatures at BEEC— Join us on a hike to listen for sounds of the night and learn about night creatures around a fire.
🌲 Dec. 6: Nature's Treasures at BEEC — We will gather nature’s treasures and make wreaths to bring in the green during the winter season.
🔥 Jan. 10: Fire Making at Retreat Farm — Join us to practice our fire-making skills and together enjoy a snack around the fire.
🐾 Jan. 31: Winter Detectives I at BEEC — During the first of two tracking programs, we will visit different habitats to find a variety of tracks and signs of animals in winter.
Free family fun in the great outdoors—come hike, paddle, build a fire, track animals, and play with us!
