Originally built in 1658, Highnam Court is a grand country house steeped in history. In the 19th century, it became home to Thomas Gambier Parry, a notable Victorian artist and philanthropist. Gambier Parry created the original gardens, transforming the grounds into an artistic and horticultural masterpiece. In recent years, the gardens have been lovingly restored and enhanced under the care of current owner Roger Head, bringing new life to this historic estate.
Visitors can explore a variety of beautifully designed gardens including the rose garden, wisteria walk, wildflower meadow, and tranquil lakeside paths. Discover hidden corners, elegant planting schemes, and peaceful water features as you stroll through this unique private estate.
The Cobalt Café in the Orangery will be serving light lunches, cream teas, and homemade cakes throughout the day.

• Dogs are welcome on short leads but are not permitted inside The Orangery
• Disabled access is limited due to gravel paths and steps into The Orangery
