This is an invitation to attend the War Horse Remembrance Sunday Service and pleasure ride around the gorgeous Bramham Park on 9th November 2025.This event is a service, parade and escorted ride to remember those that have fallen in battle. The aim for the day is to gather together horses and riders, members of the public and the Highmoor Bloodhounds for a remembrance service and parade though the park by kind permission of the Lane-Fox family, on behalf of the Household Cavalry Foundation.
The day will start with a meet and service at 1pm in front of the Hall followed by a pleasure ride around the stunning Bramham park.
The service and parade are formal events, it is a very important day and a very high standard of turnout is required for both horse and rider. Formal winter hunting attire must be worn - this means black or navy coat, black coloured safety head gear, long boots, hunting shirts and plain white or off white stocks. Tack should be plain black or brown in colour, plain dark coloured numnahs, no brightly coloured attire or colourful saddlecloths. Horses must be clean and plaited.
All places must be booked online, the cost of your place will include your attendance/booking fee, and a donation of £25 for our collection for the Household Cavalry Foundation.
