Highland Park Photowalk w/ Kodak Camera Club + CineStill + Monroe County

Hey there Rochestarians! 👋 We are planning a FREE photowalk through Highland Park, in partnership with our friends at Kodak Camera Club and Monroe County 📸 🎞️

We’ll meet outside of Lamberton Conservatory to hang out, chat about cameras, and load up some film before trekking the park. Together we’ll explore the beautifully designed Highland Park and arboretum.

Whether you’re just getting started in film or a seasoned pro, this FREE photowalk is for everyone. Bring your favorite camera, some film, and comfortable shoes — it’s the perfect chance to shoot, connect, and #explorerochester with fellow photographers and our amazing local partners.

GETTING THERE

Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park is located at 180 Reservoir Avenue. It’s easy to reach by car, bike, or rideshare, and a street parking is available in front.

MEETUP

We’ll meet at the conservatory at 5:30pm. This is a great chance to meet some of the teams at Kodak, CineStill, and Monroe Country — and some special guests! Connect with other local photographers about cameras, gear, and techniques before we load our film and head out. That said, everyone and all cameras are welcome! [film, digital, phone, etc!]

THE WALK

Our route will take roughly 1+ hour of walking, stretched out with plenty of photo stops along the way. We’ll start by making our way through the rolling hills of Highland Park during the late afternoon and early evening and make our way back to the conservatory for a large loop around the park. Comfortable shoes recommended!
