oin Mary Evelyn Tucker for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon of watercolor as we paint a charming Highland cow surrounded by spring wildflowers! In this step by step class, participants will learn how to build rich reddish browns, create soft expressive eyes, and layer fresh meadow greens to capture dreamy golden morning light, along with learning unique sky building techniques.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike. We will focus on blending warm earth tones, creating texture in loose fur, and using soft background washes to achieve depth without overworking the piece. By the end of class, participants will leave with a finished painting full of personality and springtime charm! Come ready to paint, learn, and enjoy a creative afternoon at SMAC!
Instruction and all materials are included in the fee of $60 per person.
Beginners and returning painters are welcome.

Mary Evelyn Tucker has been a full-time artist since 2015, specializing in watercolor pet portraits, children's book illustration, and murals. She believes in the healing power of art, inspired by her journey of painting her beloved dog, Ava. Through Skillshare and local workshops, she enjoys sharing her techniques and helping others discover their unique artistic voice.
