HIGHER LISTENING (our Second Full Album Lounge Experience)

This is a FULL - ALBUM "higher listening" journey where you can expect a private-communal style listening experience honoring 9 major bodies of work within both Hip Hop and R&B.

Each guest will have access to thier own personal 3-channel headphones enjoyed within the coffeshop's general seating or our grounding room curated specifically for folk who tend to be a bit overstimulated. Although cigars, cocktails, wine, coffee and tea will be available for purchase, your ticket will include a cup of your choice of coffee or tea.

This entry is for music lovers, mid-week dates, cozy lounge enthusiasts, and anyone looking to wind down into night mode.

Ciara is a Multi-Dimensional Creative, balancing a reverence for Song & Dance through the sonic narratives of their DJ craft alongside a penchant for Music Journalism. A High Frequency Historian, Ciara's devotion to cultivating spaces to honor music brings a beautiful touch to their Album Selection for this experience.

-Terry is the current Curator of Quiet Storm's Bi-Weekly Open Mic Night. A Saxophonist by trade, Terry's love for music comes from the sounds of West Coast Rap booming out speakers in South East San Diego and through D'Angelo and Erykah Badu crooning out old Panasonic House Speakers through childhood.

3590 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA (between Hillcrest and Bankers Hill)

We will have indoor and outdoor seating (with a specially curate dlounge section for comfort), dress for comfort and rest!

TIME: 6:00PM to 9:00PM.

We will have a total of 3 albums for each 3 channels of the Headphones (9 albums in total)to dive deep into so come early for grounding and settling in the space!
