Higher Education Book Talk with Scott Carlson and Carlo Rotella
About this Event
P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Scott Carlson and Carlo Rotella to celebrate and discuss their respective books – how college faculty and staff can help students "hack" their college experience through a proactive, personalized approach to success – and – teaching and learning in a classroom full of skeptics.
Scott and Carlo will be in conversation with Sophie Ghalem and Liam Covert. They will sign books after the talk!
Tickets and books are available both on eventbrite and at the door.
Housekeeping notes:
- This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating.
- Doors open at 6:30pm, with the talk starting around 7:00pm.
- Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
- The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear.
- If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!
About the authors:
Scott Carlson is a senior writer for the Chronicle of Higher Education.
Carlo Rotella is Professor of English at Boston College. A regular contributor to the New York Times Magazine, he has written books about cities, boxing, music, and literature.
About the moderators:
Sophie Ghalem is a rising Junior at Brooklyn Latin High School in Brooklyn, NY.
Liam Covert is a rising Junior at Concord Carlisle High School in Concord, MA.
