About this Event
Join us for the next all-Ireland meeting on what Higher Education Institutions should do to tackle our planetary crisis. This one-day engaging participatory event will focus on shifting gears from discussion to ACTION, as we seek to build on the energy and success of previous meetings in Galway, Belfast, and Dublin.
The event will explore key themes, including integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into curricula, advancing university policies for climate action, promoting climate justice, and fostering student and faculty activism. Experts, educators, and activists will discuss how universities can lead the way in TAKING ACTION to shape a sustainable future, drive systemic change, and empower the next generation of climate leaders. Whether you’re a worker, student or member of the wider community, this is an essential conversation for anyone passionate about the transformative potential of Higher Education.
This event is co-hosted by University College Cork and Munster Technological University, in partnership with the newly formed Climate Justice Universities Union (CJUU).
A full event programme will be added soon.
