Did you know that in 2023, over 1,050 calls to the problem gambling helpline came from Central Virginia? One of those calls may have been your client, coworker, best friend, or child.
As sports betting, video games, and online gambling become more pervasive in our community, it’s important that we learn the hidden risks of this addiction and its connection to substance use, suicide, poverty, and more.
The event will include presentations from our featured speakers followed by a panel discussion and Q & A session.
