An Evening with Chuck Sitero & David Lawrence — Two of Boulder County’s Finest Songwriters
Join us for a special night of music featuring two of Boulder County’s most celebrated local songwriters, Chuck Sitero and David Lawrence.
Chuck Sitero is the songwriter and founding member of High Lonesome, a nationally touring Colorado bluegrass band named by Denver Westword as one of the “Ten of the Top Colorado Bluegrass Bands” in 2024. With over three decades as a bluegrass frontman, Chuck’s performances blend expert musicianship with heartfelt storytelling. In his solo shows, he steps beyond bluegrass to share other musical passions, offering a mix of Americana, folk, and soul-stirring originals.
David Lawrence is the songwriter and band leader for both LaPompe — a gypsy-jazz swing outfit — and David Lawrence & The Spoonful — a roots, blues, and Americana ensemble. Known for his warm vocals, intricate guitar work, and genre-bending style, David brings a timeless quality to his performances that draws listeners in from the first note.
